It's embarrassing. And I think if you're a real man or woman of Integrity, Service Before Self, and Excellence, you should feel a little ashamed of yourself if you know your decisions are the reason someone else's family is suffering. I'm not a Big Blue airman at all. But I feel like a selfish asshole, even if my malformity is completely out of my hands now or not. If that hasn't already given enough identifiable information, I'm sure this will narrow me down even more for my unit to recognize me... But I'm worried I'm the reason that an airman asked for Entry Level Separation, too. I have nothing concrete to base this on, I don't even know if it's a rational fear, but we had "one of those" airman join the unit within the last year. He was clearly lost in life, and he certainly didn't find himself in the Air Force. Like, to the extent that he didn't understand the uniform, rules, the UCMJ, why we had a schedule and consistent office hours, why he had to listen to NCOs... He obviously saw me as a peer and took his lead from me, as I was experienced enough to know a lot (the way the E-4 mafia "knows" things) but I wasn't an NCO and I didn't order him or punish him.
A long khaki skirt grounds a pretty blouse in a fun polka dot pattern. Wear with chic black accessories that add extra polish.
